Art Club

The Art Club within the past year has created new activities and opportunities for their creative community. Whether taking a field trip to visit art galleries, attending in-person art competitions, or holding large events like the Art Show, this club prides itself on innovation and creativity. Besides the yearly Art Show in May, the Art Club is currently preparing its members to enter the national Scholastic Art & Writing Competition. This competition provides prestigious awards like scholarships or art camps to certain award winners. If you are an artist or writer interested, talk to Craig or Mae about when you can attend our informational meeting for this competition. The Art Club’s biggest strength is its sense of community. This club is completely student-led, where the officer team can arrange activities, meetings, or events that the club decides on as a whole. This club is a casual, yet motivated environment for creative people to connect and improve their work.  Feel free to join any of the Art Club’s meetings! Check out their meeting dates posted outside/inside the Art Room, any high schooler is free to join!
