This week's spotlight is the Band that Mrs. Graue instructs. The high school band just finished their marching band season! They competed in Bennington and Ashland and received a Division II Excellent Rating. Mrs. Graue had this to say, "I'm very proud of the hard work students put in this season, and I'm excited to see our commitment grow! We have a powerful sound, and we are ready to put that sound toward concert band and basketball pep band season.
The junior high band has been getting ready for their concert on October 30th. They have put in a lot of hard work getting ready for this concert, and they are excited for the public to come see it.
Mrs. Graue also had a lot to say about the middle school band such as; the 6th grade has done a great job coming together as one band this year. They are full of energy, are ready to get better and play, and are starting to have a strong balanced sound. 5th grade started instruments this year, and we have been working in group lessons to learn how to play. They are very enthusiastic and dedicated players, which is wonderful to see. They are truly getting better each day.
