Activities Spotlight: Quiz Bowl

Quiz Bowl competed in the Girls Only tournament in Seward on September 6th and placed 4th. Teams competed at Central City and had great effort. The team will compete in Bellevue on November 11th and at UNL on November 18th, how exciting! The strengths of the team are Math, Science, Social Studies, and Current Events. We are a very diverse group of students who are in a variety of sports, activities, and clubs. We accept anyone willing to learn!! This is our 3rd year of the activity in the school, and our membership is over 15 students. Our first year, it was 5. I am proud of the growth of the activity and I look forward to progress in the years to come! What a wonderful job to the quizbowl students!
