Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Polak

This week's staff spotlight is..... Mrs. Polak! What does Mrs. Polak like about RC? Well, she likes the close-knit community and how everyone watches out for each other. Being a teacher isn't what she wanted to do. In college, she had started studying architecture. Although after a year it didn't feel like her best option anymore. Which is when she switched to a history degree. If she wasn't a teacher she would want to own her own bakery. One thing that students would be surprised to know about her would be that she had studied abroad in college and spent a month in.....China! What makes a 'good day' at RC for her would be when she gets to have a positive interaction with her students and coworkers. Also, she gets to learn new things about people around her. If she had a day to enroll in another teacher's class it would be Mrs. Parks culinary classes since she loves to cook.
