Junior High Speech is up and running! Although they were supposed to start much earlier this month, the snow stalled them just a bit. However, that will never keep the team down! Their first official practice was last week on the 23rd, and they will continue with Tuesday night practices starting right after school. If you're in 6th-8th grade and interested in joining, just come to practice! The JH Speech coach is Sami Desh, who is also an alumnus of the high school speech team as well. Sami graduated in 2012 from Raymond Central and was an active member in both speech and theater. Sami has also been an active part of the Popcorn Productions at Mahoney State Park for the past several years. If you'd like to catch her in action, go see a Melodrama this summer!
