This weeks Jr. High Speech  Spotlight is... Julia Wolfe! Julia is in 8th grade, and is having a blast doing speech! One of her favorite memories in speech is when Grace chased Mitchel around with a plastic fork. All of Julia's events that she takes part in are persuasive, and declamation, and she is in a duet! Some advice Julia would give to someone who is thinking about joining Speech is to be confident when you are presenting. And if you mess up, just continue because the judges aren't the ones who know the script, it's you! One way Julia prepares for a speech meet is that on the way there she gives her speech twice, and when she arrives at the school she gives her speech to the wall a couple of times.
