This week's Jr. high speech student spotlight is... Kennedy Wright! Kennedy is in 6th grade, and is in the middle of writing an informative speech on the history of pickles, along with a poem about summer! Some skills she is hoping to gain from speech are her writing skills, and she'd like to gain confidence in her public speaking skills. But what she is most excited about speech this year is to have other people hear her awesome writing! One thing that interested Kennedy in joining speech for the first time was that she wanted to get better at writing, and speaking in front of people. Kennedy also says that she is very excited for her first actual speech meet! Good luck to all Jr. High speech kids!
