Staff Spotlight

This week's staff spotlight is Stacey Doan! She is a Special Education Teacher. Ms. Doan went to college for her undergraduate degree at UNK, two graduate programs at UNL, and one at Doane. She decided to work as a Special Education Teacher because she wanted to help students who need extra support and she wanted to work at Raymond Central so she could be in a smaller school district. When asked if she had any advice for students she responded "Learn how to balance what you need to do and what you want to do. Keep this in mind when you are thinking about what job you will pursue. Some people turn their favorite hobby into a job, and it's not enjoyable anymore." When asked what a fun memory at school was she responded "I was very fortunate and got to travel a few times while I was in school. I went to D.C. in 8th grade, London in 10th grade, and Italy in 12th grade. Those were all amazing trips that I will never forget." Ms.Doan's has a lot of dream vacations including cruises from Hawaii to Australia and South America to Antarctica. She also wants to visit all seven continents during her life. Her favorite drink is Diet Pepsi or Iced Tea and her favorite food is ravioli.
