Andrea Hicks

Today's staff spotlight is Andrea Hicks! She is one of the 9-12 Resource teachers. Ms. Hicks got her Undergraduate for Elementary Education and Special Education at Northwest Missouri State, Her first master's at Doane College for Curriculum and Instruction, ELL, Pre-K, and her second master's at UNK for Supervision of Special Education. She decided to work as a Resource teacher because she was raised in a small community and always wanted to teach in a smaller community.  Raymond Central seemed like a great place to work and expand my special education experience to include 9-12 grades. Some advice for students that Ms.Hicks had is "Set your goals high and always push forward! You can achieve anything you set your mind to!" A fun memory she has had at school is "Riding scooters in the hall with my colleagues." A dream vacation she had is to go to Paris. Her favorite food is Gyro and her favorite drink is Dr. Pepper.
