Last Friday was our Jr. High speech team's last meet and it was a home meet. Everyone did so well! In declamation, Lauren Hellerich got 3rd place and Julia Wolfe got 2nd. In duet, Ellie Soden and Julia Wolfe got 4th place! In entertainment, in 2nd place was Mitchell Hellerich. In extemp, Julia Wolfe got 1st place! In humorous interpretation, Lauren Hellerich got 3rd place. In impromptu, Lauren Hellerich got 5th place, Ella Struble got 3rd place, and 1st place was Mitchell Hellerich! In informative, 6th place went to Coleman Field, 4th place was Ellie Soden, 3rd place was Bella Haake, and 1st place was Lauren Hellerich. In persuasive, Stella Backer got 5th place, Julia Wolfe got 3rd place, and Kate Field got 2nd place. In poetry, Harper Trumble got 5th place, and Mitchell Hellerich got 3rd place. In the triathlon, 4th place went to Lauren Hellerich, and Julia Wolfe and Mitchell Hellerich tied for 3rd place. For the team sweepstakes, the RC team got 1st place! Great job to everyone on the team!
