RC takes down Arlington in game one at Plattsmouth 2-0.
The Mustangs go to 1-0. Big win was secured over Filmore Central. Nice work gentlemen.
The HS band had terrific performances at last nights volleyball game for pep band (a special shoutout to two seventh graders who joined!) and at todays State Fair Parade in Grand Island. Thank you for your hard work and congratulations on some amazing playing together!
Come see (or play with!) the band next week on Tuesday, September 3rd for volleyball and Friday, September 6th for football!
Mustangs can celebrate! Thank you Sophia N. who sang the anthem to start us off as we celebrated several VIPs, staff members, programs, and Sarah L. who continues to add to her already impressive resume’. Congratulations Brody, Sophia B., Colton C., Mrs. Polak and Mrs. Hicks.
Mustang Nation came to support the volleyball team tonight. The support they showed was spectacular. The football players even stayed behind to put away chairs.
Congratulations to the Raymond Central cross country team on their strong performance at the inaugural Dale Nielsen Invitational held at Timber Point Lake. Medalists for the Mustangs were C. Dubas (2nd), L. Lubischer (6th), and S. Norlen (7th). Overall, the boys team placed second.
The girls varsity and junior high also opened their seasons, with E. Zobel, T. Schomer, and S. Legget placing in the top five in the junior high race.
Next action for the Mustangs is on Saturday, September 7th at Beatrice.
Art at Raymond Central is simply exceptional. This project is technically a “paper sculpture mural” It is a student mural or collaboration art, paper sculpture, something along those lines! The artist they focused on is called Charles McGee out of Detroit. His work is all about unity and togetherness according to Mrs. Craig.

Jamboree action tonight. The Mustangs play well and win two over the hosts at Centennial. Great things are coming girls.
When it's hot out the Mustang family responds. Jared S. and Mr. Kobza along with other staff gave water to our students who are riding the buses today to help relieve them from the heat.
The first Spanish Club meeting of the school year will be on Monday, September 16, beginning at 6:00 in Sr. Karel's room. It will be a trivia night, with prizes available to win! Anyone enrolled in a Spanish class this year may be a part of the club. Hope to see you all there!
