How about those Mustangs!? The Ladies were in Platteview for their tournament today. There is a lot of young talent on this year’s squad. They wrestled well and represented RCHS with pride.

Raymond Central boys wrestled well in a very competitive Platteview tourney today. Wyatt J. was elevated to champion and paced the Mustangs to a top six finish as a team . Great team effort gentlemen.

Mustang JH boys basketball takes three from Syracuse tonight. The C game went into extra periods until it was won on a free throw. Great work fellas.

Mustang Boys Wrestlers take two tonight. They down Cross County Osceola and Centennial at home. Looking good fellas…lock and load for tomorrow at Platteview.

Raymond Central Preschool Party happened today. They were having a blast.

Per Mrs. B: Our preschool classes were invited to the FCS room where a morning of cookie baking was waiting. The High school kids planned, prepped, and executed the entire event. The preschoolers had the BEST time measuring, counting, sneaking a chocolate chip or 2, connecting with the big kids, and creating something from start to the delicious finish.
I was SO impressed with the kind and intuitive way that many of the high schoolers engaged the preschoolers.
We have such cool things happening around these parts!

Girls Basketball with a great win over Malcolm tonight! Great toughness girls!!!

Raymond Central girls beat Wahoo in a wrestling dual this evening. Great job Mustangs.

Congratulations to Kate F. (7th, Alto Saxophone), Grace R. (10th, Horn), and Marissa T. (10th, Trombone) for making it into the Wayne State Honor Band! They will join other MS and HS students from across the state to play high level music at Wayne in January. This was a tough audition process, so give them a big congrats!
In addition, Grace and Marissa have been selected to the Patriots of the Plains Honor Band! These two students will join other HS musicians at Lincoln Northwest in February to rehearse alongside and perform with the 43rd Army Band. What huge honors all around, and way to represent Raymond Central!
