As I walked our halls at Raymond Central High School again today, I was impressed by more of the legacy statements posted by our students. These are examples of some of the kids that truly understood the assignment. They are all very good. Stop by and see them for yourself.

Oh that RCHS Art Class is at it again. Great stuff Mrs. Craig. Our halls look fantastic. Talent, talent everywhere.

Congratulations to the RC XC team on their gritty performances at the Nebraska Capitol Conference meet hosted by DC West at Sycamore Farms. Against tough competition, C. Dubas was the lone medalist for the Mustangs, placing 7th. The boys team placed 4th as a team in a competitive field. Next action for the Mustangs is Thursday, October 17th for the District C-1 meet at Branched Oak hosted by Malcolm. The boys will race at 2:00pm and the girls will race at 2:45pm.

No school tomorrow for students so we celebrated today, and what a celebration it was! We gave out Five VIPs including a special one to “Big George” from the preschool. Will B, Marissa J., Olivia S., and resident firefighter extraordinaire Gavin T, all received VIPs. Laura and Melissa were honored for their selflessness as staff members as well. Several senior girls led the student body in our school song using the newly crafted lyrics! There were even Marvelous Mustang awards offered from Mrs. Huck’s classes. We are truly telling our story.
